"Did I hurt you?" He asked while observing the purplish bruises that were scattered over her back, shoulders, and neck. Hinata looked over her shoulder at the red headed male, cool teal eyes still focused on the marks.
"I hadn’t noticed," came her sleepy voice. He didn’t seem convinced by her answer but chose not to further the conversation. The Kazekage pushed himself upright and stared at nothing in general. "You didn’t mean to."
But he did.
"So, it’s okay," continued Hinata.
But it wasn’t. He had done…that on purpose. He wanted to. She was his and only his. Those marks just let everyone else know it. Hinata moved silently around the room and found one of his robes.
His. It was his. She was his.
Hinata glanced over at red haired male. “Did you say something?” She asked while brushing her navy tresses.
Gaara stood, not caring at he was in the nude. Hinata blushed regardless of their relationship status. He took the brush from her hand and sat it on the dresser. The Kazekage brought his lips to the hollow of the Hyuuga’s ear before firmly repeating himself, “Mine.”
Chills of different emotions raced down her spine. Granted, Gaara was irrational most of the time but…
She winced feeling his teeth on the skin of her neck then relaxed. Hinata didn’t know why she melted in his arms so easily. Maybe she was crazy too. He soon pulled away leaving more bruises in his wake. “Wear a ponytail today.”
Hinata turned to him with widened eyes. “I… I can’t do that!” Her slender fingers rested at the marred skin.
"Yes, you can." He proceeded to take off the robe she put on and wrapped it securely around his body.
"Gaara, people - your people will know and…" Hinata awkwardly tried covering herself.
"If anyone has anything to say I’ll kill them."
"But…" Her opal eyes fell to the floor.
Gaara tilted his head. His sea foam orbs almost glow within black-brim borders. He was taken back by her sudden smile. “What?”
"Nothing," Hinata shook her head. "D-do my hair for me then?"
Gaara reluctantly gave her another robe and picked up the brush before ushering her to sit down.
Hands down, Gaara was crazy. Hinata just so happened to be his happy place and horrible addiction. It was a good thing she was just as crazy.
